Dominion City Conservation Society

You’re invited to join the Dominion City Conservation Society, a new group open to all with a mission to bring good people together around a beer, united in their love of the outdoors, interested in getting outside with like-minded friends and motivated to learn more about the actions we can all take to protect our natural inheritance.

The DCBC Conservation Society is a club, a newsletter, a forum for sharing and a home to celebrate the outdoors through in real life get-togethers like hikes, paddles, education and more.

To kick it off, we’re hosting speaker Professor Rachel Buxton, a professor in the Department of Biology at Carleton University and one of the key organizers between the recently launched Save Ontario Wetlands campaign at the brewery next Friday November 25th at 7pm.

Rachel's talk will focus on wetlands; their importance and value, new threats to this vital natural resource and what we can do to help. Tickets are $5 and include your first beer.

To celebrate, we've produced a limited run of DCBC Conservation Society merchandise and a portion of the proceeds supports Environmental Defence and their campaign to protect Ontario's Greenbelt, wetlands and conservation authorities.

Join us next Friday for a beer, sign up to learn more and pick up a piece of Society merch for yourself or as a gift for the outdoors lover in your life.
