July 1st is fast approaching. You may have been wondering about plans for Dominion Day. For the last four years, we've hosted a patriotic gathering on Canada Day around the city to celebrate. This year, we're changing up.
In place of our usual July 1st fun-tacular, we're hosting a come-as-you-are Patriotic Patio Party Sunday June 30 (Canada Day-eve) at the taproom. We'll have the parking lot licensed for the day, there'll be games for kids, delicious food from Ten of Cups pizza and of course Very Good Beer pouring all day. The can shop will be open all day for all your July 1 needs.
Later this Summer marks five years since we opened our doors. To celebrate, we're re-imagining Dominion Day as a celebration of the people, partnerships and communities who've helped us throughout the journey thus far. Just like in the past, there'll be delicious special releases, amazing beer from our friends, activities and delicious food; all the ingredients you need for a great party. Above and beyond these familiar ingredients, we're working to build a showcase of the people, organizations and partners who've helped build Dominion City into more than just a brewery, but a place where people can gather and build a sense of community.
We'll have a date and more details to announce in the weeks ahead, but the plan is to bring Dominion Day home to our backyard on Canotek Road as a huge end-of-Summer celebration where we can thank and celebrate with each and everyone of you in proper style.
