On Saturday February 8 we're bringing beer from over 30 of our favourite breweries from across the province, Canada, the United States and Europe to our home on Canotek Road.
We're calling it Rooted In Place; a winter celebration of beers from around the world made from locally-sourced ingredients and that tell a story about the land they come from and the people who brew them.
Rooted In Place is the beer festival we've dreamt of attending ourselves. A place to showcase and enjoy delicious beer made with passion, focus and intent that reflects the diversity, imagination and terroir of the artisanal beer scene from around the world.

Winter in Ottawa is a beautiful time of year. The days are short, the waters are frozen and the land is sleeping. We're excited to bring some of our favourite breweries, old and new friends from across the globe, here to share our city with them and their beer with you, our fans.
The festival will take place over two four hour sessions at the brewery. Pouring will happen indoors throughout the taproom and production area, and outdoors under large, enclosed and heated tents. A total of 300 tickets will be released per session. The festival is snow or shine.
Rooted In Place features an all-inclusive model, which means no tokens are required to sample a beer. This is a common approach to festivals we've attended and enjoyed both here in Canada and abroad. It dramatically improves the flow, wait time, and overall enjoyment of the event. Within this format there are no restrictions on the beer you choose to drink, as long as you are drinking responsibly.
Regular passes are $120 (+ applicable tax) per session, and will be sold online through our website and at the taproom. Early bird passes are now entirely sold out.
A total of 300 passes per session will be released. Your ticket includes four hour unlimited access and pours to 30+ breweries, a custom Rooted In Place glass and sticker.
