Pista Café - Bookkisa Naturel
This very sweet and round coffee tastes of mango and pineapple, on a finish reminiscent of blueberry jam.
For the fifth year in a row, we are back with one of our favorite coffees, Bookkisa. This coffee comes from the hamlet of Bookkisa in the Guji Highlands region of southern Ethiopia.
This lot is the result of the work of 33 farmers whose "garden" plantations rarely exceed 2.5 hectares. In this type of farm, coffee plants are scattered around the main dwelling, under a semi-forest canopy alongside other types of so-called subsistence crops (vegetables, corn, etc.).
Once delivered to the Dambi Uddo station, it is Ture Waji, aka ''The King of Guji'' , and his company Sookoo coffee who take care of the processing and export of this coffee.
The result of unparalleled expertise, the natural Bookkisa is very sweet and round. It tastes of mango and pineapple, with a finish that reminds us of blueberry jam.
