The Good Way Sumac IPA
“Working together and moving forward”
Brewed with our friends from The Birch Bite in the Algonquin Anishiinabeg community of Kitigan Zibi, this beer features ingredients foraged from the land, including cattail root and sumac.
A portion of the proceeds from each can sold supports Menobideg, a new social enterprise founded by the Birch Bite. They are partnering with community educators to provide young Indigenous people with outdoor science learning opportunities. This land based learning initiative will provide participants with experiential lessons in the outdoor classroom. Rooted in Anishinabe knowledge systems, the Menobideg classes explore environmental science and earth stewardship from an Indigenous worldview.
