History Of The Style
Popularized in the 18th century England, brown ales fell out of favour until British brewers resurrected the style in the 20th century. Our take on the style features a dry, nutty malt profile with pronounced stone fruit and papaya hop aroma that pushes up against the boundaries of the style guidelines while maintaining balance and avoiding harsh hop bitterness.
