Redtail Vineyards - 2019 Secret Pinot
About 1 barrel of free run juice was fermented in new oak, the rest on skins. Spontaneous primary and malolactic fermentation. Blended together post ferment and aged in a mixture of new and neutral French oak. Sulphur additions. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and unsettled. Bright, crunchy red fruit on the nose with a slight sweetness from new oak ferment. Light on the palate (10.5% abv), perfect for chilling in the summer or as a "winter rosé".
