The Good Way Sumac IPA
“Working together and moving forward”
Brewed with our friends from The Birch Bite in the Algonquin Anishinabeg community of Kitigan Zibi, this beer features ingredients foraged from the land, including cattail root and sumac.
ABOUT THE GOOD WAY
The Good Way project started in 2019 as a year long collaboration between The Birch Bite (Anna's former restaurant) and Dominion City, which culminated with a sold-out beer pairing dinner at the Ottawa Art Gallery featuring Indigenous-inspired dishes. The project raised nearly $10,000 for the Kitigan Zibi Canoe & Kayak Club, which among other things, helps bridge the divide between Indigenous and non-Indigenous young people through community-based reconciliation.
