It's decorative gourd season. For many of us this weekend will be jam-packed with family, food and tryptophan comas. To celebrate this delicious time of year we're hosting The Heirloom Kitchen for a harvest cook-off this Saturday October 7 at the brewery.
Swing by noon to six to stock up on beer for your Thanksgiving dinner and enjoy delicious offerings from Veronica Gutierrez, the talent behind our delicious tasting bar menu.
Vee will be serving up Kimchi Pozole; a harvest-style stew loaded with hominy, braised pork shoulder, ancho and arbol chiles. There'll also be vegetarian tostadas with refried black beans, cream corn, pico de gallo, queso fresco, radishes and cilantro. Plus, Vee will be selling jars of her famous kimchi. All items are under $10.
In addition to amazing food from Heirloom Kitchen, the Bottleshop and Tasting Bar is teeming with beer options, including more than a dozen taps pouring and more can releases than you can shake a drumstick at.
See you at the brewery this Saturday.
