Friends of the Dominion is the first in an occasional pop-up bar series we're excited to kick off this coming March 30.
The concept is simple; we've set out to host a one-night bar featuring very good beer by Dominion City pouring alongside a selection from some of our favourite Ontario breweries, cideries and wineries. We've teamed up with our friends at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation and proceeds will support this important cause.
While the location for these events is subject to change, the concept is here to stay; we aim to host the best curated bar list and most delicious evening possible in an unconventional setting while raising cash for a cause. For our first event we're excited to have taken over the space at General Assembly, a renovated mechanic's garage in Hintonburg. (It's down an alley off Fairmont and a really cool little space.)
