Growing up this name was such a big part of our lives here in Quebec. Maybe your bus driver had that name or the guy that worked at the depanneur near your house or maybe it was a neighbour or relative. To us it’s kind of that name that is synonymous with the every day “Habitant” Québécois. This coffee was born of memories, "des souvenirs" of so many different things…the beginnings of Quebec & Montréal, our very distinct & celebrated seasons, and the traditions that come along with them. This is not a light roast coffee because most people in Quebec are not light roast people. They’re oldschool. What this Coffee does different is that there is an extra layer…a “Ché PAS, maaan” of jammy floral fruit that represents the wonderful fruit harvests that we are privy to in this province. Think wild berries from Saguenay & île d’orléans & baies d’argousiers from Kamouraska. That extra layer also represents the uniqueness that makes us different here in “la belle province.” so it is a dark roast, but it’s not a dark roast that you’ve ever had before.

The packaging was inspired by the road trips that we all have taken throughout "La Belle Province", the flora and Fauna that we are able to witness come, go, & evolve throughout the years, and the customs that we all continue to pass on today.

You could say in some ways this coffee isn’t for you but instead for us. A little way of tooting our own horn over here in the Europe of Canada. You can always join in with us though because there’s always a log that you can pull up and sit down at this bonfire.
