Our re-imagining of a rustic agrarian beer style from southern Belgium pours a distinctive rusty copper colour with a delicious bergamot aroma. Fresh zested oranges and Earl Grey tea balance spicy and fruity esters to create a unique and refreshing pint.

History Of The Style

Saison ales were originally produced in the French-speaking Belgian region of Wallonia where farmhouse breweries produced sessionable summer beers for ‘les saisonniers,’ seasonal workers who came to help with the harvest.

Ingredients

Fermentables: Pilsner Malt, Munich type II,  Dark Wheat

Hops: Fuggles, East Kent Golding 

Adjuncts: Fresh orange zest and peel, organic earl grey tea

Yeast: White Labs Saison Ale II
